Separated By A Door...
Yesterday 11.30am
My panicky maid called me in the office saying the children were locked inside the masterbedroom!!! I was shocked but I reminded myself to stay calm. I asked the maid to calm down and recite the whole incident to me before I can decide what to do. My maid is still having difficulties understanding & express in english so I have to repeat myself many times to ensure she understands my questions and provide me the correct infor.
According to the maid...
The children were naughty so she had confined them in the masterbedroom and the children dono how locked themself inside. She was very scared and my mum was not there yet. The children were not crying but playing.
Since the children were not frightened, Im not so worried but still have to unlock the door fast before they put themself into danger. I used to have the key with me but recently it went missing and before I can find it, inciddent happened. I taught myself never to procastinate again as emergency dont give signal!
I informed the daddy and he suggested to use the hammer to hit the door knob, hopefully the latch will rebounce (very witty of him) but he can only make the trip home after he had settle some work matters. Hah??! I cant be possible waiting for him to finish his matters, time is crucial to me. I sorted other alternative and called my mum. She rushed to my place immediately to realised Abella was crying and LOCKED INSIDE ALONE !!! The maid had miscommunication again!
My mum had tried the daddy's suggestion but dont work (*eye rolling*) and the fastest locksmith needs about 45mins to reach. Luckily my mum was composed and able to think fast by communicating with Abella through the door gap. She pushed a book in hoping to lure the girl stayed behind the door (afraid she might roam around the room doing dangerous act). Abella was attracted and thought that was fun and pushed out the book for mama. The 45mins wait was long but luckily she was distracted. She was frightened and will sobbed something but she knew she was not alone. Though the locked door had kept her apart but she knew mama was at the other side of the door. Their heart were linked, through the gap of the door. Clarabelle was worried for Abella too, she knew Abella was locked inside crying, kept asking mama about Abella. The frightened maid, kept crying also... my mum had to pacify her not to cry as will worsen everyone mood and suggested her to cook lunch as Abella must be hungry when she is out.
Poor mummy, I know this is alot for her old heart but she was calm enough to control the stituation. She kept me posted the stituation too and told me not to worry and concentrated on work... see, the greatness of mother's love... nothing can slander...
At 12.35pm
The long await locksmith was finally here! Abella was free! The locksmith picked her up and gave her a peck, poor girl, must be too shocked to react to stranger! But when she saw mama, she dashed forward and hugged mama... my mum cant control further and breakdown... both cried together...
A half eaten cracker was found at the scene... Abella must be hungry but she dowan lunch... just asked for milk... by then daddy was home too, to see the happy ending...
That night, after work, I dashed home and glad to see everything as usual, mama and the girls sitting at the couch watching hi-5. Still I gave both girls a beary Hug, they are my brave girls... and Thank You Mum, You are my heroin : ]

Oh dear, what a scare! Luckily your mum was calm and everything turned out okay. Recently I anticipated this problem cos the boy kept locking the door but usually someone is with him. I have been telling the maid to watch out. Now you remind me. I better pass her the keys just in case!
