非常Super

Last sunday evening me & hubby had a 非常super date! We did not go to the cinema, or a posh restaurant. Neither did we go to an exotic hangout but... we went to our more than 70 years of radio and 41 years of televison production, Media Corp theatre! We were at the "live" recording of 非常Superband!

No! No! No! Please... We are not the crazy 非常super 粉丝(fans), and in fact that night then we knew was the rivial competition. Those bands that had been disqualified earlier were given a chance that night to compete among them and the winning band will regain their qualification to compete for the final 非常Superband!

So we are not the fans but why did we go then?

台前好演员,台后百人劳. Well, beside seeing the glamourous on the stage, I enjoy watching "behind the scene", that is, the actual making of a show, without those super producers, floor managers, camera men, coordinators etc, a show will never be so super glamour presented upon the tv audience's eye. They painted it super beautifully, especially the host of the show. Actually there is another mc, not known on tv, has been interacting with us all the while, every response is in-prompt to, and he had brought the atmosphere to the right temperature but when the camera man roll the tape, the two puppet tv hosts then start reading from the script talking. Sometime I am wondering why our tv hosts are so limited and have little room to improve. Now that I understands, they actually dont have the platform...

Though last sunday was not our first visit to mediacorp but it was ours very long time since 缤纷八三 or 搞笑行动. We were super late that night too! The ticket stated to reach 15mins early before 6pm. Gosh! When we reached was 7.30pm! Hubby was quite disappointed as we gona missed most of the show till we saw a super long queue... and those super young people in the queue were holding the same ticket as ours!

Hubby got hold of a media corp staff...

hubby: excuse me... is the show finishing soon?
staff: huh? No, haven start yet.
hubby: I thought the ticket stated come before 6pm?
staff: oh, we request you all come early to queue.
hubby&me: ... ... ... super! -_-

But we were not quite disturbed, at least we manage to see the whole show. The waiting time was not super long, the queue moved very soon and super swift, we came into the "live" theatre! The stage was not as big as you have seen in the tv but was those super glaring and colourful light, lit up the glamour of the stage.

We spotted a pair of super good seat, front and middle but the youngster girl beside was kind enough to inform us that when the show starts, we will be blocked by the camera man. Hmm... super delighted to receive such a gesture. Most probably a super singaporean unfriendly person wont take such initiative.

Those super fans gained acquaintanceship super fast too youngster mixed easily. They had self-zoned themself and sitted at their respective supporting bands. It wasnt difficult for us to find another super good view seat. We sat near to the 非常Super judges and I can get up close and personal with our 非常super home grown talent, Dannis Chew

Well, some may have say our local variety shows have no authenticity but I think for a small and limited market, if we are dare to try what other had done, is a semi-success already. If we can do better than what other had done, we are successful. If we never try, we will never know and never success. And I am looking forward to our another new variety show, 全民创意争霸赛 coming soon on tv.

Another thing I find 非常super is, our youngster! I didnt realise till that night our youngster can be so craze interactive and supportive fans. Furthermore those contestants not a celebrity yet. I also envy their energy, screamed and cheered throughout the recording my ear drums were hurting!

I am impressed by those contestants talent too though I cant appreciate those heavy metal rock, they are blasting my EARS!, at such young age, playing their own band. Hmm... what am I doing then? Nothing impressive Well... they are the new Y-age what!

And not photo from me cos, I am a law abidng citizen!

See the terms and conditions stated on the ticket?! So I didnt bring any even the hp! But just seat down there watching others people snapping but miss so many nice candi. Wah... wah...

P/s: Eh... SS, the pirates will be screened on Channel 5, this sunday 6.30pm...

not tue night...

Piratepai seh ha!
