Our wishing for this 牛 Year ...

Wishing the whole world Peace, Harmony, Love, Joys & Happiness... and last but not least...
$$$ HUAT AH $$$

This cream poko dotted long tiers dress is my girls' favourite new year dress and I strongly had the same fonding too. It's simply couture.

The girls kept spinning & dancing like a princess ballerina the moment they putted it on...
As if they were casted by a spin spell... hahaha

And the moment I wipped out my canon... they limbs and body started cranking, curling, twisting & arching, at all sort of angle & degree...

See above 1st 4 pics... also if you had seen "American Next Top Model" you'll get what I mean. Tyra Banks will love them :p

Nevertheless they are just my 4yo kiddos... when the wind blow...

Doting Daddy

Yes, this is a deflatable pool. Size 1.6m x 1.6m!

The girls are very fond of swimming after they went to a chalet where they were having fun in the pool the whole afternoon.

Since then, they are always bugging us to bring them swimming! Everyday "mummy, swimming huh? go swimming?"

So, me being a *SP mother, starts comtemplating to get a mini deflatable pool! Especially when realise the price not very steep actually, @ $19.90 for a dia 900mm size.

When I break my idea to the daddy, afraid he will pour cold water on me and frame me a SP mother again, to my surprise, the daddy agreed and even thought of getting more bigger one as he can dip in too!

So we start hunting around and found this at Toys 'R' us offering $39.95! Wow! for such a big one! The daddy even thought of getting a 2m X 2m one but I think those are too huge and the price too.

Though getting the pool is cheap but buying the accessory is not. This air pump cost us $79.90! More expensive than the main thing!
I am hesitating to get it or not as we have the manual one, but the daddy has a far sight. He anticipate he'll have a hard time, imagine how much leg power he needs to pump in 1.6m x 1.6m of air? By the time the pool inflate, he deflated already!

Luckily we bought this pump, pumping up the pool is just 10mins task! The girls are so excited! Even dry swimming in the pool! Haha!

So we are ready and get set for our coming bungalow chalet! Yeah!

We are at the chalet and having fun time! :)

Yes! Daddy pitch us a tent too!

*SP - abbr for " seng pai " in hokkien means spoilt brat, a mummy who pamper her child too much!

Do-Re-Mi

I am gratify to see the girls do appreciate music. I think music is good for nuturing a person character. I think music lovers are mostly joyous, contented and carefree. Just like Maria, the female lead in The Sound of Music. I love most of the song in this classic too, they are so melodious! I am glad I remember to introduce it to the girls...

How this happen was, one night, dono why Clara was cranky for no reason and refused to sleep. So I sang her a song, edelweiss... Dono how that seem to bring an contented smile on her face. Enthusiastically I sang them another song, Do-Re-Mi and they were amazed!

So, a needle pulling thread... the next day, I decided to hunt for the CD and surprisingly it was not difficult and cheap too, $9.90 only.

Now, every night they will prompt us to on the Doremi song... always " mummy on the doremi... yes..."

and the funny part is after the doremi is this song, The Song of Music... they will say " oh! doremi tire... mummy doremi tire... sleep... " Haha! I dono how to describe it but if happen you know the song... sang by the children and the captain... the tune is pretty slow and sound like yawning... hahaha!

When You Won A Pair of Mini Torch in A Lucky Draw

I had won a pair of cheapscape mini torch during one of the GSS promtion sale in the neighbourhood shopping center. What can I do with this pair of mini torch? Too weak to brighten anything. Guess their fate will gonna just shy away on the shelf. Or when I have children...

Ready ? Get set ? and... Light off !

We pretended we were camping... inside the quilt. 1 adult + 5 children lifted up the legs as the support for the tent. A total darkness... just two shy beam casted out from the mini torch but 5 pairs of eyes are beaming! The children were so excited! Then I played ghost by putting the torch under the chin and the shadow casted out was e - e - r - i - e but the girls aint any scared but giggled away -_- ... anyway good way to train their courage. But after a while, we decided to explore outside the "camp" ... +_+" cos very stuffy inside the quilt.

Phew... fresh air and more fun! We used the torch light to project hand sculpture on the wall... cat, dog, eagle, rabbit... Hahaha! The big girls even pretended that they were miner with light on their head! Hahaha! This was alot fun!

Now this mini twin tower had stood proudly on the shelf. The moral of the story is, not matter how mini your role are, just do your best, you contribution will still be honoured :)

First Pressie from Daddy

The girls' daddy is not a present person, since their birth he has not get any present for them out of his own accord but yesterday he bought them this Mr. Sketch from a talk he had attended and they are really very smellful..

This box of marker indeed bring joy to the girls. That night, the moment the daddy presented them the colourful box, immediately they requested to open it. Well, what are we waiting for? I got them A4 papers and they started doodling on it... very soon the papers were filled with red (cherry smell), yellow (lemon smell) and orange (orange smell)... then the coffee table also... their hands... -_-

I think I better stop this activity before the mess extended to the wall and sofa and... Im just too tire to see the mess after a hard day... better leave it for weekend. Luckily the stain didnt dry fast and can be removed... Clarabelle refused to stop initially but after I agree to let her hold onto the box.

So I ask the hubby why did he buy this box of marker?

hubby: Very special mah, every colour has a symbolic scent so they will learn the smell of the fruits too :)

Though I am very sceptical how nontoxic this box of scented marker has claimed to be, nevertheless I really appreciate the daddy thought :)

Cho-cho Train

Last saturday while shopping, the children were captivated by this train playset on displayed... Hey, mommy find this interesting too... train ferrying stuff from one destination to another... and check out the bull dozer, cooled! So, happily we bought home one :) Cant wait to assemble it, we did it that night though it was late and the children should be on bed... and finally when we are done... Hah??! Battery no included!

The next day, finally, we got the battery but see what happen? The two disturbing particles had dismantled the whole setup! >"< ... assemble the whole thing again and... where is the motorised chassis?! Errh.... Abella! Where is the ? train? Clarabelle! Did you see it?

wtpg: oh where? (start helping to hunt) There! (both pick up a train body and shovel to me)

me: not this... the black one, with wheels... (point to the picture on the box)

and I start looking at their usual hidding place...

this used to be their playpan but now become their toy storage and clara love to dump things inside... barney... bear... lion... santa... ball... train... ultraman, but No train!

the drawer... Nope!
the bicycle... last time I found clara's water bottle cover here... also... Nope!
After 15mins of tresure hunt still no sight of it.... Where is there motorised chassis ?? Then the maid recalled abella was the last holding it and she was in her room... and Yeah!!! We found it! The two culprit cheers for it too! No sense of guilty at all... making me almost wreck the whole hse, though they are very "helpful", running and searching high and low for it ... ... you think mummy will let you both off so easily? huh! >"<
The motorised chassis was found sandwiched between those layers of mattresses...

Finally! Here goes the cho cho train.... chomp chomp chomp... chu chu... chomp chmop chomp... chu chu :)

GSS Prelude

Yes ! The annual Great Singapore Sale is here again! But before the actual sale starts, my wallet has already burnt a big hole...

I am so excited to find our Plaza newly revamped Popular bookshop is selling Eric Carle book, though cant find the title " The Very Hungry Caterpillar ", I bought the other interesting one. Eric's book has not many words but has very distintive style of illustration, very innovative, inspiring and motivated... I am overwhelmed that my impulse is urging me to owe his complete collection.

Big Purple Bouncing Ball

My girls love ball and they have outgrown those little balls that I had bought since they born. I was planning to get them a bigger ball before I pass by the $1 dollar shop and saw this big purple ball. Yes, this is the ball I am looking for, it is big and can bounce and the best is, it cost only $1 dollar! Happily I grab home one.
The girls indeed were excited, the moment they saw me home with an big ball in hand, imediately they screamed "Ball Ball" and start snatching to hold onto it. They enjoy tossing the ball, kick it, bounce it, throw in the air and wait for it to drop and goes bouncing away...
An $1 dollar joy... Big Purple Bouncing Ball :)

Balloon PET

Found this 3D animals balloon on sale, now $12.90 onwards! I hv seen it quite sometime ago, was selling at a steep $30 plus and I was very tempted to get for my girls then not mentioning now is on sale :p

I can be indecisive when I am spoilt with choice. But all the animals look so cute and emotion, standing patiently, waiting to be owned. How I wish I could bring home all, my girls and nieces and nephews must be very excited to receive it. All the children should have one too, it will put smiles on all their faces! I am over-whelmed, just the dog alone, there are different design already, and there are cat, duck, pig, hen, tortise, dinosaur etc. Finally I decided to get the Terrier and "Sausage" dog as I can see the daddy face had changed colour #_#

I had bought two, 1 for my girls, they will share playing, another is a gift for their cousin, Kaela on her coming birthday. Piror to that, I called Kaela's mum...
WTPG : " Eh, what animal does Kaela like? "
K.mum : " Why? You getting her a PET!?? "
WTPG : " No lah... the 3D balloon... What's her horoscope? "
K.mum : " Goat.. "
WTPG : " No goat leh... "
K.mum : " Aiyah, I get her to talk to u... Kaela... TT piao yi ask u what animal u like... "
Kaela : " Hello TT piao yi, I like pig... "
WTPG : " HAH?!! Why u like pig? "
Kaela : " bcos my mummy say i am a pig tat y i like pig..." (K.mum echo behind, when did i say u r a pig ?!!! )
WTPG : " Kekeke... ok "
K.mum : " I think u just get her what u think is nice lah, she basically has no preference. "
WTPG : " Wah all are very nice leh... u throw back my question... -_- "

She is my cute cute Kaela :)

Luckily I didnt get my girls the real pet, their passion for it is like merely ... 3 mins... the are not gentle to the balloon pet too... were kicking the "pet" n enjoy seeing them flying high -_-"
I almost become an irresponsible pet owner :p

Baby's slipper

My mum bought this pair of slipper from hainan for my girls. Cost S$2 dollars only, i think. Im not a brand nor price conscious person but somehow i just cannot appreciate this slipper. Thought it was pinkish with cutie cartoon... nope, i dont have chemical. However my girls love to wear it and went flip flap flip flap around the house. Since it teaches my girls to recognise right shoe for right foot and vice versa and i am not an ungrateful person, till today, i am still accommodating the slipper.

There is a saying love can be cultivated thru time. Now i dont find this slipper eye sore already and i allow my children wear them out too :p

The story of Vitasoy

Today I let my girls try new product, children soya bean milk fortified with vitamins, less sweet, suitable for toddler as it is only 125ml, small pack, easier to hold & less wastsage.

For trial, I let the two of them to share 1 pack. Abella is asking clarabelle for the drink. Clarabelle is ignoring Abella as she enjoy the drink very much.

Finally Clarabelle is willing to offer...

Taste good right? Ok now is my turn.

Anxious Clarabelle decided not to wait and self service...

" AH!!!... EE... "

The rest of the story let your imagination continue...
