This cream poko dotted long tiers dress is my girls' favourite new year dress and I strongly had the same fonding too. It's simply couture.

The girls kept spinning & dancing like a princess ballerina the moment they putted it on...

As if they were casted by a spin spell... hahaha

And the moment I wipped out my canon... they limbs and body started cranking, curling, twisting & arching, at all sort of angle & degree...

My First Mother's Day Card (Belated)

Yesterday on the way to school, Clarabelle posted me a question.

" Mummy, why you didnt accompany me to school? "

I quickly strike the metal while it's still hot.

" Yes... mommy will like to fetch you & Abella to school but every morning Clarabelle & Abella dont cooperate with daddy & mommy, so we are late for work and daddy has to drop mommy at the bus-stop instead and fetch you both to school himself."

" But, if both of u cooperate with daddy & mommy then we can leave the house on time and daddy & mommy not late for work then mommy can accompany Clara & Abella to school..."

The girls took awhile to digest my words but seem enlighten and replied : " Ok!"

Hee... actually we are partial to blame cos some time we over-slept too :p

Feeling guilty, I decided to pick up the girls from school that evening. Normally their father will picked them up first as his work place is near to their school, after that then fetch me from work.

Then when I was at their school, I was so delighted to find this belated MOTHER'S DAY CARD in their buggy hole!

Hee... This is their first gift for me... thought most of it must be done by the teacher, probably only the hand prints are theirs... but this is precious : )

Today, I woke up extremely early, thought the girls were still procrastinating initially but we manage to leave the house in time... : )

On the way to school, I had made deal with the girls that no crying and pestering when mommy has to leave for work after seeing them to school. Althought after so long, I suppose they are ok and everytime when I alight at the bus stop, they are so well behave... still I just want to reassure : )

And after making so many promises, the moment they stepped into their school...

immediately the 2 girls...

Wah!!! mommy accompany me... mommy carry me... I want mommy... -_-

The daddy gave me his white eye and said... " you must walk them to the playground... and must take the long route..."

I followed as per his instruction.

Then when in the playground... they were still pestering me to carry them...

white eyes from the man again...

"Dont! Just give them a good-bye hug then go!" then kept nagging at me, move! move! ignore them! move on!

*Irritating fellow*

On the way to my bus... the hubby called... " guess what? I went back to see them & they are playing like nobody!"

I knew that... dont need you to tell me -_-

Pineapple tart

富贵花开

Dong dong dong chan! Dong dong don chan! CNY is coming!!

Have been very busy with the house chores, have not start spring cleaning yet... But still, I must make my favourite New Year pastry, PINEAPPLE TART !

Im not very particular with the pineapple filling, as long as it's not too sweet. But I am very choosy with the pastry. Be it 金枕头 or 富贵花开, I like it very buttery & flaky so when you dump it into your mouth, it'll just.... Mmm... melt away... and not too sweet so you wont feel disgusted even indulge with many helping.

But after running in & out so many bakery shop, I just couldnt find one bakery that bake to my liking, so sad : (

Just when I feel so deprive, my fren came asking me interested to make pineapple tart...

Huh? Make my OWN PINEAPPLE TART??!

"Yah lar! I have all the material. You just need to 搓，能搓多少，就拿多少! "

Wow why not? and I always like baking... and I never regret spending whole afternoon kneading but just made 1 jar of tart...

While baking, the rich buttery smell already make my heart melt. The moment the timer went buzz... I cant wait to bite the still piping hot pastry and... Mmm... yummlicious! I finally found my tart tart! I was jumping with joy! Heh heh heh!

wtpg: " Mommy what's this? "

wtpg's mum: " Pineapple tart!"

wtpg: " Mommy I like pineapple tart!"

wtpg's mum: " Sure... I'll give u tomorrow... it's late now.... "

wtpg: " This is pineapple tart... not apple, not tart, is pineapple tart... ... ... "

" No no... petit people made petit things... 没有口感 ! " my fren complaint about my little 富贵花开.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Yesterday was our National 41th Birthday! Happy Birthday Singapore!

It was a public holiday and the girls realised that when they woke up seeing daddy & mummy not dressed up to work but still on bed!

Clarabelle pester daddy... "daddy go farm (goat farm)? huh? go farm?" and YES! Daddy agreed! So immediately we set off after a quick wash up as we want to catch the goat milking session before it end at 11am!

It was a wonderful morning, breezy blue sky with beautiful cloud, everything was perfect for such outing!

When we passed by the Kranji Reservoir, Clara yelled with excitement: "Mummy see! Water !"

It was high tide! The water level is almost the same as the road level. The girls were so delightful, they love to see anything associated with water... kept reciting water, water fall, swimming... etc


When we reached the goat farm, it was already crowded with families. We were just in time for the last milking session. Standing at the viewing platform was an "pungent" process but the girls dont seem to be bothered instead kept imitating the goat bleating, mie... mie... as if they were able to communicating with the goat... *eye rolling*

Beside watching the goat in the farm, the girls enjoyed most is the goodness of the milk! Most people will cringe at the smell of goat milk but I am glad that they love goat milk, most probably it's the chocolate flavour and the chillness, the only drink I gave them so chilled. Really have to drink it very chilled then the goaty smell is not so overwhelming though the tints of chocolate does help abit too.

Sharing a 250ml bottle is definately not enough for them but I made them share, the chillness of the milk can really make them cough...

Beside the goat farm, Kranji does has many other nature places to be explored. We drove into an jetty and realised that was the Lim Chu Kang Police Coast. It is also a pier for fisherman at the nearby kelong to reach spore. The pier deck was not very secure and wobble but that doesnt intimidated us from getting near to the sea... the air doesnt smell good (rotten fish) but the scenary is tranquilling... this place may be daddy's new fishing hangout... the girls love it and kept looking out for fishes... and me? sure come back for more picture, when I got myself a better pixel camera! : (

Next stop, we went to the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Entrance fee $1 for adult and 50 cents for children. Im not prepare to pay entrance fee for a nature walk but thinking it's just a nominal amount, for maintaining the nature... well, this is the minimum I shd do to help conserving the nature...

I will advise to go this place well equipped. Binocular, good camera, head gear, proper walking gear, generous time and a filled stomach. This place has too much to see and you really need the time to appreciate the scenary. This time round was too ahoc. The girls were hungry and tire. Though we saw the monitor lizard, mud skipper and tree crawling crab... We will definately come back next time, well prepared... :)

Today is Father's Day!

Yesterday is then the actual Father's Day! We had woke up but the daddy was still sleeping, We shall not disturb the daddy, not untill we finish our father's day project! It not a difficult one, the girls love to draw, just drawing paper and crayon and Yeah, done! Quick present the drawing to daddy!

I had drawn a bee and a flower. A bee cos daddy is like a bee, always so hardworking and busy. Hopefully the bee can paused longer when extracting the nectar to enjoy the flower and appreciate his surronding... :)

Clarabelle requested me to include a bird in her picture... guess this girl know daddy love freedom... HaHaHa

and they girls did the final touch by doodle on it !

Happy Father's Day!

I thought Father's Day is on the 2nd week of month june ??? but no, the actual day is 18 June, this sunday !!! Anyway the girls had a mini celebration with their daddy yesterday. Nothing elaborate, just a cake cutting session but to them, it was fun, cos they love singing the "happy birthday song". So 1,2,3... *clap hand* happy birthday to you... happi birthday to you... happi birthday you... happi birthday to you! Y-eah ! ! ! *clapping* and *hoo-hoo-hoo* blew off the candles.... ^_^"
and of course mommy didnt forget to prepare pressie for daddy... a bottle of nice perfume, DKNY delicious...

Since Father's Day is not over yet, maybe I will do something... afterall daddy should deserve this compliment, for his hard work and contributions to the family in many form at his way :)

Hee . . . thank for reading my make up story. Mother's Day is around the corner, quite sometime didnt get any decent present for my mommy. So I decided to buy her an foot massager, a small token for what she had done so much for me.

Last night the foot massager was delivered to my place. While I was unpacking, the two girls were very busy also and I took photos of their activities. Then I realise some of the photos can be link into a story...

Girl's 2nd Chinese New Year

! 恭贺新禧 !

It's our Chinese Lunur New Year again!

This year we cannot celebrate as it is part of our filial piety to mourn my mil for 1 year.

Nevertheless my fil say its Ok for the grandchildren to wear red and he bought my children this tradition red chinese costume. As for the adults, we must keep all low profile.

Saying not celebrating mean we cannot give angbao and say well wishing words. For most chinese, CNY festival is also an annual gathering or house visiting event and everyone will wish each other when meet.

The thing make me awkward is that when we were at relatives or friends house, people still say well wishing to us but we can only keep mute but give a smile. Those who know about us will understand but those who dont know must be very puzzle. The worst is those that had gave my children angbao must be expecting me to give their children too. This tradition practice is conflicting the saying "give and take".

I almost want to make announcement that I am not celebrating CNY but this seem inappropriate as it's an happy occasion and only auspicious words allow.

Actually we should be staying at home but then some will say its an annual meet up, too long to wait till next year, keep pestering us to turn up.

Hai... whatever, all are human say.
